Robert Shinn is a well-known pastor of Shekinah Church and the founder of 7M Films, an LA-based talent management company.

However, a new Netflix docuseries called Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult alleges that Shinn has been running a cult in disguise, involving his church and talent management company.

The documentary explores the alleged crimes committed by Robert Shinn, which has led his daughter, Kloë, to cut off ties with him. Many former members of both Shekinah Church and 7M have come forward to accuse Shinn of acting as a cult leader, instructing members to cut off contact with their families and friends, and taking a significant portion of their earnings.

Shinn, who referred to himself as the “man of God,” is also facing allegations of sexual assault and soliciting sexual favors from members of both the church and the talent management company. Despite these allegations, no criminal charges have been brought against Shinn. He is currently involved in a civil lawsuit with former clients of 7M and is under investigation by the IRS for alleged tax fraud.

Kloë Shinn, Robert Shinn’s daughter, is a Korean-Canadian singer and songwriter who has distanced herself from her father and the church. She is married to Daniel N. Joseph, who was previously involved with Shekinah Church and 7M Films. The couple released a statement in 2022, confirming that they had parted ways with both entities and had no business ties with them.

The allegations against Shinn and the revelations in the Netflix docuseries have caused a stir in the media, shedding light on the dark side of the seemingly successful pastor and talent manager. Despite the controversy, Kloë and Daniel Joseph are focusing on their personal lives and careers, asking for respect and privacy during this challenging time.
