According to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), women who have accused Jeffrey Epstein of sexual assault have filed lawsuits against Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase for allegedly supporting his alleged sex-trafficking business.

According to WSJ, the lawsuits want class-action status and an undefined sum in monetary damages. Both lawsuits were filed in federal court on Thursday by attorneys who have defended many of Epstein’s detractors, the source added.

The time has come for the “true enablers” to be held accountable, particularly his affluent buddies and the financial institutions that played a crucial role, one attorney, Bradley Edwards, reportedly told WSJ in a written statement. According to the newspaper, a representative for Deutsche Bank said, “We feel this claim lacks validity and will present our reasons in court.”

According to WSJ, suspicions about the bank’s alleged connections to Epstein are cited in the case against Deutsche Bank by New York state’s top financial regulator. According to the publication, the JPMorgan Chase complaint is predicated on an alleged romantic relationship between Epstein and a senior bank executive.

According to WSJ, both lawsuits allege that the banks helped and took part in Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking by allowing him to pay women for sex acts and profiting from his actions.

According to the site, Epstein allegedly collaborated with the banks for years after he admitted to soliciting prostitutes from a minor in 2018.

According to the unidentified woman’s lawsuit against JP Morgan, Epstein allegedly sexually assaulted her from 2006 to 2013 while she was a ballet dancer in New York, according to WSJ, which cited the woman’s lawsuit.

According to the publication, the other unidentified lady who is suing Deutsche Bank alleges in her case that Epstein sexually assaulted her from roughly 2003 to roughly 2018.

Epstein passed away in 2019, reportedly by suicide while being held in custody awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
