The first son of Ghanaian business mogul and founder of Despite Media, Dr Osei Kwame Despite, has tied the knot in a glamorous traditional wedding, and it’s setting the Internet on fire (literally).
Kennedy Osei, who is also the General Manager of Despite Media, proposed to his girlfriend, Tracy, on a plane a few weeks ago.
In the viral video, he proposed to his girlfriend midway through the flight in the presence of other close friends and with the support of the Pilot and cabin crew on board.
And today (Feb. 13), he has sealed his vow with a glamourous traditional wedding at their residence at the plush Trasaco Valley in East Legon, Accra.
His father and his friend Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, football legend Samuel Osei Kuffour and other dignitaries stormed the venue, gabbed in traditional Kente cloths.
About 30 groomsmen were spotted around Kennedy while a bunch of bridesmaids surrounded his wife.
We are told there will be no white wedding. A reception, however, has been scheduled for the weekend.
