Desirae Krawczyk of the United States advanced to the Wimbledon mixed doubles semi-finals after defeating Jelena Ostapenko and Robert Farah on court 12.
After a close first set tie-break, the defending champions edged off their seventh-seed opponents.
The second set, though, was completed in 28 minutes.
In the last four, they will meet Croatia’s Mate Pavic and India’s Sania Mirza, who is seeded sixth.
Elsewhere, British wildcards Jonny O’Mara and Alicia Barnett lost 6-3 6-1 to Matthew Ebden and Samantha Stosur.
In the other mixed doubles semi-final, the Australians will face Americans Jack Sock and Coco Gauff.
She has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 11, which she earned in May 2022, and she has won seven WTA Tour titles, including two at the WTA 500 level.
Krawczyk has three Grand Slam titles, having won the French Open and US Open mixed doubles tournaments with Joe Salisbury in 2021, as well as the Wimbledon Championships with Neal Skupski.
She was also runner-up in women’s doubles at the 2020 French Open, partnering Alexa Guarachi, and the duo was semifinalists at the 2021 US Open.
