Deric Augustine and his identical twin brother Deven were both born in New Orleans, Louisiana, with Deric Augustine being two minutes older than Deven. They were born on April 3, 1990.

In addition to doing print and catalog work, the twins started their acting careers in 1991 with the help of their mother. When Donna Augustine had a hemorrhagic stroke while Augustine was a freshman at Northwest High School in Opelousas, Louisiana, he put acting on hold to devote himself to taking care of his mother.

The actor chose to concentrate on his academics and athletics in order to put himself through college due to the rising medical expenses for his family.

He was a standout football player at the University of New Orleans and also excelled in a variety of topics, including marketing and theater/film.

Augustine opted to make acting his full-time career after receiving his bachelor’s degree, and he recently received a part in the 2014 release “When The Game Stands Tall.”
