John Kumah, a member of parliament representing Ejisu and Deputy Minister of Finance, has reportedly passed away.
A lawyer and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah is the current Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region. He is also creative, innovative, and resourceful when it comes to helping youth development and creating jobs.
He served as the first Managing Director of Majak Associates Ltd., a construction and building company with projects under its belt throughout Ghana.
He started the Aduaprokye Chambers after graduating from law school and served as its managing partner until the President named him CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) in 2017.
John Ampontuah Kumah graduated from the Swiss Business School in Switzerland in November 2020 with a doctorate in business innovation. He had graduated from the same business school in 2019 with a master’s degree in applied business research prior to that.
Among his many degrees is a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Research from Nobel International Business School (NIBS), which he earned in 2019. He graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2009 with an Executive Masters degree in Business Administration (Finance).
He was married to Apostle Lilian Kumah and the couple had six children together.
He has been an NPP supporter since 1992 and has contributed to the party’s grassroots efforts. He was the creator of the Young Patriots, an NPP pressure group and youth political activist.
