Deloitte, a global professional services firm, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art library in Hohoe, Volta Region, as part of its ‘WorldClass’ project.
This initiative aims to impact 100 million people worldwide and 35,000 lives in Ghana by 2030.
The newly commissioned library will benefit seven schools in the municipality, providing students with access to a wide range of educational resources. Deloitte’s commitment to making a positive impact on society is evident through the establishment of this ultra-modern facility.
This is the seventh library opened by Deloitte in Ghana, following previous installations in Greater Accra, Eastern, Central, and Ashanti regions. Abena Biney, Audit Partner and Chief Sustainability Officer for West Africa, highlighted the firm’s dedication to supporting school children in acquiring essential literacy and technical skills for success.
Furthermore, Deloitte recently launched three important reports focusing on technology, media, telecom predictions, women in the workforce, and restructuring surveys. These initiatives demonstrate the firm’s commitment to shaping and transforming Ghana for the better.
