Award-wining “Deebo” Tyshun Raequan Samuel, aged 26, is an American football wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). On Friday, January 5, 1996, his mother gave birth to him.
Samuel was given the nickname “Deebo” by his father, Galen, after the character Deebo in the 1995 film Friday, played by Tiny Lister Jr.
He attended Chapman High School and continued at South Carolina College. He was selected by the 49ers in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
In 2021, he was named to the Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro. He also won First-team All-American and First-Team All-SFC in 2018.
