Founding Editor of Ghanafuo, David Mawuli lost the bid to be the peoples favourite journalist of the year at this year’s Peoples Celebrity Awards.
David Mawuli was competing with other journalists for the Peoples Favourite Journalist Award. Others in the category included Konxept Worae, Halifax Ansah, Atractive Mustapha, Adomako Felix (Zion Felix), Ameyaw Debrah, Dan Lartey, Kwame Dadzie, Nana Yaw Donkor.
He a post on Facebook after the event, David Mawuli indicated that “Fam, we lost the People’s Celebrity award for ‘Favourite Journalist’ to my brother Atractive Mustapha but we didn’t lose our lives. I want to congratulate him. He deserved it! So far as we have life, there’s still hope to achieve bigger things next year. I want to thank all my ‘cutlass’ friends here. We had a great year. May God replenish all your energy, efforts and money put into the voting. May God bless you!”.
