On January 12, 1997, Darius Slayton, a wide receiver for the New York Giants in the National Football League, was born. (NFL). In the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Giants selected him after he played college football for Auburn.
Slayton played football for Greater Atlanta Christian School, his high school.
Slayton attended Auburn University to study and play football. He took a redshirt in 2015, and then from 2016 to 2018, he was active on the field.
Slayton was chosen by the New York Giants in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, 171st overall. That year, he was chosen as the 18th wide receiver.

Slayton participated in the Giants’ 26-16 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football in the 2020 regular season, recording six grabs for 102 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. Slayton hauled in eight passes for 129 yards in the 37-34 defeat to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5.
Slayton concluded the Giants’ Week 2 game against the Washington Football Team with three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown, but in the fourth quarter, he dropped a pass in the end zone.
