Worldwide, people celebrate love and give their loved ones care and affection on Valentine’s Day.
Arla Foods, the company that makes Dano milk, took advantage of this internationally known day to launch a significant activation campaign called “Dano Spread the Love.”
The Dano Mascot marched around the streets of Madina and Accra Central Market, accompanied by brass band music, giving away free Dano milk products to customers, vendors, and milk lovers.
The mascot hugged people and talked to vendors about the health advantages of milk consumption.
“Valentine’s Day allows us to bond with our consumers and make a simple yet meaningful impact in their lives. Building inner strength begins with building a positive mentality about life. The initiative, while bonding with consumers and spreading warmth, is also Dano’s way of saying, ‘You are not alone, we care about your nourishment so just go for it,’ said Mr Wilson Agbeko in an interview.
When I spoke with a few of the traders, they told me how amazed they were that Dano milk was reaching them where they were and delivering love.
“This is the most touching thing we have ever seen—a firm coming to us on Valentine’s Day to tell us they love and care about us,” commented one of the dealers.
