At the age of 68, guitarist Danny Kirwan, who joined Fleetwood Mac at the age of 18, and who contributed to five of the group’s albums, passed away in London.
No cause was mentioned when Mick Fleetwood posted the news of his passing on the band’s Facebook page.

According to legend, a dispute over tuning before a performance between Kirwan and bandmate Bob Welch led to Kirwan’s dismissal from the group in 1972.
