Danny Gray, an American football wide receiver for the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers, was born on April 1, 1999. (NFL). He attended Blinn and SMU before being drafted by the 49ers in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Gray chose TCU over offers from Auburn, Baylor, Texas Tech, and Tennessee for his last two seasons of eligibility in the summer before his sophomore year. He had a productive season, recording 54 receptions for 877 yards and eight touchdowns. Gray changed his mind about attending SMU throughout the current season.
Gray started out right away for SMU. For 448 yards and four touchdowns on 33 receptions. In his senior year, he finished the season with 49 receptions for 803 yards and nine touchdowns, earning him a spot on the first team of the American Athletic Conference. Gray declared his intention to bypass his final year of NCAA eligibility and declare for the 2022 NFL draft after the regular season ended.
