Daniel Sorensen, an American football safety with the National Football League’s New Orleans Saints, was born on March 5, 1990. He schooled at Brigham Young University, and played football there.

Kory and Roxann Sorensen, Sorensen’s parents, raised him in Grand Terrace, California. He performed a two-year mission in San Jose, Costa Rica, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
