The mystery surrounding Daniel Kaluuya’s prospective participation in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been solved: the Londoner will not be returning to the franchise for second installment.
Kaluuya was anticipated to reprise his role as W’Kabi, King T’Challa’s  (late Chadwick Boseman) greatest friend and confidant, and the Border Tribe’s chief of security.
According to Variety, Kaluuya was unable to act in the sequel owing to scheduling conflicts with Jordan Peele’s upcoming horror flick Nope, his next big-screen role.

Marvel fans hypothesized that Kaluuya’s character W’Kabi might take over as the superhero Black Panther in the sequel.

While the narrative of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sequel is unknown, the cast includes Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett, who are all returning their Black Panther roles.

We also know that Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, and Dominique Thorne will be joining the cast in roles that have yet to be revealed.

When it was released in 2018, Black Panther became one of the highest-grossing films of all time, making over $1.3 billion globally. It was the first Marvel film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

Kaluuya began his career on British television with appearances in Skins.

The sequel is anticipated to explore different characters from the Black Panther storylines while honoring the history of the film’s predecessor.
