Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, the leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, has praised Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare’s leadership abilities and called him the best the nation has had thus far.

The Muslim cleric claims that it is evident to everyone that the Police Service has changed and become more efficient since Dr. Dampare assumed office.

In a call to action, Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih asked Ghanaians to support and shield the IGP from those who would seek to undermine him and his contributions to the nation on Wednesday, February 22, 2024, at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana’s 91st Annual Convention. There were members of the Police Management Board in attendance.

“Dr. Dampare’s appointment as IGP at this specific moment is among the best things Allah has done for us in this nation. He is one individual who has made every effort to improve the perception of the Ghanaian Police Service.

We owe Dampare our support so he can carry out all the things he has started and continue to succeed. He is exactly what Ghana needs right now. Everyone is benefiting from strong leadership, as evidenced by the outstanding performance of our current IGP. He said, “I pray for Allah’s blessings on him and his team as they lead the police service.

Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih urged other political and social elite leaders to assist the police force in its continuous reformation efforts.
