Dale Whitnell is an English professional golfer who was born on August 9, 1988. At the 2021 Dubai Duty-Free Irish Open, the 2020 Betfred British Masters, and the 2009 Alfred Dunhill Championship, Whitnell tied for fourth place three times on the European Tour.

Whitnell as well as another player shared the lead entering into the weekend at the 2021 Cazoo Classic after two opening rounds of 68.
He did, however, tie for 13th after two rounds of 72 in the final round. The Englishman entered the tournament late in the week and teed off on Thursday morning without having played a practice round beforehand, but it didn’t stop him from finishing the first 36 holes in 10 under par.
Whitnell participated exclusively in The Open Championship.
