Daan Huizing is a Dutch professional golfer born on 22 October 1990. At the end of 2012, Huizing enrolled in the European Tour qualifying school He was exempt from the first round of qualifications due to his excellent amateur rating. He got it to the third stage and ended 80th, earning a spot in several Challenge Tour events in 2013. Huizing won twice in 2013, at the Northern Ireland Open Challenge and two weeks later at the Kharkiv Superior Cup. He was also joint runner-up in the Kärnten Golf Open and finished the year in sixth place in the Challenge Tour standings, and graduated to the European Tour for 2014. Huizing had a disappointing 2014 with best finishes tied for 12th place.
