Country singer Ivana Pino Arellano dies in horror crash just a day after celebrating her 32nd birthday

Beloved country singer, Ivana Pino Arellano, known by her stage name “La Rancherita de Chanco,” tragically lost her life in a horror car crash at just 32 years old.

The talented musician, who was a mother of four, passed away on June 15 following a crash on the M-80 road near the town of Pelluhe in the Maule Region in central Chile.

Ivana was driving the car when she reportedly lost control in wet conditions, causing the vehicle to flip over on the side of the road. Shocking images from the scene show the car badly damaged and overturned as authorities arrived. Tragically, Ivana died at the scene, while her passenger sustained serious injuries.

Known for her vocal range and stage presence, Ivana had gained a huge following in her hometown of Chanco and was supported by the local council. The Municipality of Chanco released a statement on social media, honoring Ivana as an “unforgettable figure” whose charisma will live on forever in their hearts.

Described as always ready to help others and find solutions even in the most difficult moments, Ivana was praised for her passion and love for public service. She leaves behind a husband and children who were the pillars of her life, the reason behind her every effort and sacrifice.

Ivana was laid to rest at the Curanipe Parish Cemetery in Pelluhe on June 17, as friends, family, and fans paid their last respects to the beloved singer. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, as the community mourns the loss of a talented musician and a dedicated public servant.
