Waitman was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers on April 28, 2020. Waitman was waived and re-signed to the practice squad on September 5, 2020. On January 14, 2021, Waitman signed a reserve/future contract. Waitman’s contract was terminated on May 3, 2021. Waitman was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders on July 26, 2021. Waitman’s contract was terminated on August 23, 2021.
