Conners became professional following the 2015 Masters and participated in the 2016 RBC Canadian Open. Conners placed 42nd in the 2016 December Web.com Tour qualifying competition.
At the Valspar Championship in Florida in March 2018, Conners was one stroke in front of Justin Rose, Brandt Snedeker, and Tiger Woods after 54 holes.
At the Zozo Championship, Connors continued his stellar play into the 2019–20 PGA season with ten top–25 finishes and one top–ten result.
In 2010 he won the Ontario Amateur, and in 2014 he placed second in the US Amateur.
