Coolio’s 1995 rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” “Pastime Paradise” won multiple honors, including Best Rap Solo Performance at the Grammys and Best Rap Video and Best Video from a Film at the MTV Video Music Awards. Coolio won multiple honors, including Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist at the 1996 American Music Awards.
