The Deputy Majority Leader and Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Patricia Appiagyei, has expressed confidence that the people of Ashanti Region will remember President Akufo-Addo for the significant road projects in the region.

During an interview on Ghanakoma morning show on Akoma 87.9fm in Kumasi with Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin, Mrs. Patricia Appiagyei highlighted that the construction of roads in the region under President Akufo-Addo’s leadership has been unprecedented in the history of the country.

According to reports, since 2017, the Nana Akufo-Addo-led administration has completed over 1,000 kilometers of road projects in Ashanti Region, surpassing the 503.44 kilometers constructed during the previous administration.

Mrs. Appiagyei emphasized that the region has been a significant beneficiary of the government’s efforts, with a focus on improving road networks. She urged the people in the region to renew the mandate of the NPP in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

She highlighted that the various developmental projects in the Ashanti Region, including road constructions, will contribute to boosting socio-economic activities in the region. Mrs. Appiagyei also debunked claims that health projects in the region have been abandoned, stating that most health projects inherited from the previous administration have been completed under the current government.

The Deputy Majority Leader emphasized that the NPP government remains committed to the development of the Ashanti Region and urged the people to acknowledge the numerous achievements and continue supporting the party in future endeavors.
