American journalist Constance Yu-Hwa Chung was born on August 20, 1946.
She has worked as an anchor and reporter for the American television news networks NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC.
Her most well-known interviewees are U.S. Representative Gary Condit and Claus von Bülow. After coming forth with his HIV status, Magic Johnson, a legendary basketball player, was also approached by Chung. She became the second woman to co-anchor a network broadcast when she joined the CBS Evening News as a co-anchor in 1993.
