Constance Yu-Hwa Chung is an American journalist who was born on August 20, 1946. For the American television news networks NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC, she has served as an anchor and reporter. Claus von Bülow, U.S. Representative Gary Condit, who Chung spoke with following the abduction of Chandra Levy, and basketball legend Magic Johnson when he came up with his HIV status are some of her most well-known interview topics. She joined CBS Evening News as a co-anchor in 1993, making history as the second woman to co-anchor a network broadcast.

Maury Povich, a talk show personality, and Chung have been married since 1984. On June 20, 1995, they adopted Matthew Jay Povich, who is their only child.
