Comedian Jak Knight dead at age 28

Jak Knight, a comedian and actor, passed away on Thursday night. Age-wise, he was 28.

Deadline received confirmation from Knight’s family that he had passed away in Los Angeles.

The reason of death was not disclosed.

With Chris Redd, Langston Kerman, and Sam Jay, Knight co-created and starred in the comedy series “Bust Down” on Peacock.

He also plays the role of DeVon, a middle school boy, in the popular Netflix animated comedy “Big Mouth.”

For five seasons, Knight wrote for the program.

In the realm of stand-up, Knight achieved his most significant professional success.

He performed all over the world and rose to fame as a comedy in Europe.

Knight accepted an offer to appear in the 2018 Netflix original series “The Comedy Lineup.”

After the tragic news of his passing spread, tributes poured in, with Comedy Central describing Knight as a “hysterical and honest comedian.”

“Jak Knight was a hysterical and honest comedian. We will miss him tremendously,” the network tweeted.

Comedian Tim Dillon paid his respects on Twitter, writing, “We taped Netflix specials together years ago.

He was an incredibly funny original voice in comedy and a great guy who will be sorely missed.”
