Ghanaians on twitter have expressed their disgust at a report by Cable News Network(CNN) which says “citizens struggle to obtain food,day-to-day services and  they often stand in long lines to obtain products”.

The report which talks about the victory of President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo, indicated that his major challenge will be the economy which has suffered some crisis including rolling blackouts.

But mentions that President-elect, Akufo-Addo has promised to improve the economy by overseeing the mining of untapped bauxite deposits and building an integrated aluminum industry.

The report which did not go down well with some Ghanaians due to the factual inaccuracies, misinformation and the fact that Ghanaians have not on any day been in long lines to obtain products started a trend #CNNGetItRight to call the international media organization to get their facts right rather than painting a sour and untrue picture about the country.

The First Lady of the country also joined the trend to get CNN to give accurate information and stop misinforming the world and painting a bad picture of Ghana.

The call for apology came in.

And those who could not take the shame CNN wants to put Ghana through could not hide their anger so they vent their spleen.
