Tognolli had a heart transplant in March 2022 after having a heart attack; the treatment was followed by difficulties and infections, which ultimately led to his death.
After graduating from the University of São Paulo (USP) School of Communication and Arts, Tognolli not only made a name for himself in the professional world but also went back to teach there.
