According to officials, a man pled guilty to murder in the killing of Jacqueline Avant, the wife of a prominent Los Angeles music mogul.
According to the office of Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, Aariel Maynor, 30, is suspected of killing Avant, 81, and shooting at her security guard during a heist at her Beverly Hills home on Dec 1, 2022.
Maynor admitted to one crime of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, and two charges of burglary in his plea agreement.
According to the statement, he faces a maximum term of 170 years in jail and will be ineligible for release.
