
Clara Tauson is a Danish professional tennis player. She became the youngest Danish champion in tennis at age 13, breaking the record of Caroline Wozniacki, who held the previous record when she was age 14.

Clara Tauson is the daughter of Soren Tauson and Tine Lindgaard Tauson. She was born to her parents on 21 December 2002, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her father Soren Tauson is a sports personality. He was a former ice hockey player who played mostly for Hellerup IK and Icehockey Club Gentofte Stars. Former tennis player Michael Tauson is Clara’s uncle.

Clara is the youngest among three siblings, thus, she has two siblings – both are her older sisters. Cecilia Tauson and Caroline Groth Tauson are the names of her siblings. Clara shares a very close bond with her sisters as they support either in their individual careers.

Clara turned professional in 2019. She attended Justine Henin’s tennis academy in Belgium. Reaching career-high rankings of world No. 33 in singles and No. 432 in doubles in February 2022, she has won two WTA Tour victories both on hardcourt indoors.
