Ghanaian Twitter users are getting on highlife singer Akwaboah’s nerves after fellow singer Cina Soul ‘brother zoned’ him in a new tweet.

On February 14, Akwaboah sent out an appreciation tweet to Cina Soul after her performance at the 2023 Shades of Love Concert at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

In appreciation of her performance, the “Posti Me” singer tweeted: “I love you @Cina_Soul #ShadesOfLove23. Cina, on the other hand, called him his ‘brother’, in her quoted response, saying: “Love you too Big Bro!!”

Immediately after she tweeted, some Twitter trolls picked up on the quote and started trolling Akwaboah.

Akwaboah and Cina Soul have had good chemistry working together. Even though they are not frequent collaborators, their 2022 collaboration titled “Obiaa” dominated airwaves for years and still gains considerable radio rotation.

The song, which was released under Akwaboah’s management and label, has garnered over 3 million views on YouTube alone. It topped many charts, including Apple Music charts, in its first months of release.
