Veteran American actor Christopher Lloyd was born on October 22, 1938, in Stamford, Connecticut.
He is well-known for playing Jim Ignatowski in the comedy series Taxi and Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy. Since his career took off in the 60s, Lloyd has made several theater, film, and television appearances.

In the summer of 1950, Lloyd started his acting career by interning at summer theaters in Hyannis, Massachusetts, and Mount Kisco, New York.
At the age of 19, he enrolled in acting classes in New York City, and in 1961, he made his Broadway debut in a performance of And They Put Handcuffs on the Flowers by Fernando Arrabal.
When asked about his stage debut in that year’s show, Lloyd remarked, “I was a replacement and it was my first sort of employment.”
He performed in numerous plays by Jean Cocteau on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and the French stage, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, In the Boom Boom Room, Cracks, What Every Woman Knows, The Father, King Lear, Power Failure, and The Seagull.
Not much is really known about the veteran actor’s parents. His mother according to our research was a singer.
