Christine Anne McVie, an English musician, and singer, born on July 12, 1943, died on November 30, 2022, at the age of 79.

Anne was known particularly as a member of the band Fleetwood Mac. She joined the band at the age of 27, as a singer and the band’s keyboardist. She also released three solo albums. Her lyrics focused on love and relationships.

For five years, Anne studied sculpture at Moseley School of Art in Birmingham, her dream to become an art teacher.

Looking a bit more at her career, Anne was awarded the Gold Badge of Merit Award from Basca, now The Ivors Academy in 2006.

In 2014, she received the Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors and was honored with the Trailblazer Award at the UK Americana Awards in 2021. She was also the recipient of two Grammy Awards.

Anne’s family broke the news of her death to the public in a statement released on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. However, the family is yet to provide arraignments for the burial of the revered musician who was loved universally.

The date for the burial service and the venue for the funeral shall be communicated by the family later.

Digging a bit about her family, her father was Cyril Percy Absell Perfect. He was a concert violinist and music lecturer at St Peter’s College of Education, Saltley, Birmingham.

He also taught violin at St Philip’s Grammar School, Birmingham. Anne’s mother’s name was Beatrice Edith Maud Perfect. She was a medium, psychic, and faith healer.
