At last, there is good news for United fans all over the world. It has reportedly been suggested that a new contract and a loan agreement for the coming season be reached by Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United.
The 37-year-old informed the club earlier this month that he intended to leave, even though he only has one year left on his contract at the Theatre of Dreams.
Due to family matters, he subsequently missed the Red Devils’ preseason tour of Thailand and Australia. Ronaldo returned to Carrinton on Tuesday with his agent Jorge Mendes after training alone over the summer.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, flew back to England to once more express his desire to leave yesterday (July 27).
And it has been claimed that Ronaldo might fulfill his wish if he signs a new contract with United. Mendes reportedly told Ronaldo and United to come to an agreement on a new contract, according to reliable sources.
The legendary Real Madrid player would be loaned out for the 2022–23 campaign in return.
Ronaldo would then be able to join a team in the Champions League despite his reluctance to play in the Europa League. However, United is still hesitant to part ways with the former Juventus striker on a long-term basis.
