Chris Wallace’s time at CNN+ has come to a short end. Barely a month after it began operations, the streaming service has been shut down by CNN’s parent company, Warner Bros Discovery.

Wallace, who had spent 18 years at Fox News, left them for the streaming service.

Chris Wallace was born on October 12, 1947, to 60 minutes journalist, Mike Wallace, and his then-wife Norma Kaphan.

Wallace and Kaphan, while married, had two sons, Peter and Chris. His elder son Peter, died in a mountain climbing incident in Greece in 1962 when he was 19.

Wallace was later married to actress Patrizia “Buff” Cobb from 1949 to 1954. Cobb was also the stepdaughter of Gladys Swarthout. In the early 1950s, they hosted the Mike and Buff Show on CBS television.

Following his divorce from Cobb, he remarried Lorraine Périgord, whom he divorced in 1986. He then married Mary Yates in 1986.
