Christopher Aubrey Shiflett is an American musician who was born on May 6, 1971. He is best known as the lead guitarist for the Foo Fighters, an American rock band.
No Use for a Name (1995–1999) and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (1995–2019) were his prior punk rock bands.
He joined the Foo Fighters after their third album, There Is Nothing Left to Lose, was released in 1999, and he performed with both the Foo Fighters and the Gimmes, as well as various other side projects, at the same time.
He also hosts the Walking the Floor podcast and has two solo albums, the most recent of which was released in 2019.
