Chris Cattrall was best known as the younger brother of the famous and well-known British-Canadian actress Kim Cattrall, best known for her role as Samantha Jones on HBO’s Sex and the City (1998–2004), for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations, winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.

Chris was found dead in February 2018, on his rural property in Blackfalds, Alberta. According to reports, he committed suicide. At the time of death, he was aged 55. Kim first share a picture of him online to seek the public’s help to find him after he went missing on January 30, 2018. According to Kim, Chris left home without his keys, cellphone, and pet dogs.
Chris was reportedly suffering from depression which he did not disclose to his sister. Kim has not yet fully recovered from the shock as she revealed that she would never the same again. He kept honoring his brothers birthday every year after his death.
