Chinelle Henry was born in Jamaica on August 17, 1995.
She was a member of the Jamaica Women’s squad before being called up to the West Indies Women‘s team.
Cricket West Indies gave her a central contract for the first time in July 2019, ahead of the 2019–20 season.
She was picked to the West Indies team for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia in January 2020. Cricket West Indies gave Henry a central contract in May 2021.
On 2 July 2021, she and her teammate Chedean Nation collapsed on the pitch within ten minutes of each other during the second women’s T20I match between the West Indies and Pakistan at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
