American football tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo plays for the National Football League’s Tennessee Titans. During his first season, Okonkwo ran three times for 72 yards and a touchdown while also catching six receptions for 69 yards. Okonkwo has 19 receptions for 201 yards and two scores as a sophomore.
After contracting myocarditis, Okonkwo was forced to sit out the 2020 campaign. Okonkwo caught 52 passes for 447 yards and five touchdowns as a senior.

Okonkwo went to Hillgrove High School and was raised in Powder Springs, Georgia. He came from a Nigerian household at birth. He has 12 touchdown catches and 48 receptions for 907 yards as a junior. Okonkwo, a three-star prospect, chose Maryland over offers from Georgia Tech and Wisconsin to play collegiate football. Okwokwo currently plays for the Titans’ team.
