Adansi South District’s Dompoasehene, Okofo Kwabena Bonsu II, has sent out a warning to those who are encroaching on the Apagya SHS property, asking them to stop and instead aid in the school’s growth.

At the naming ceremony for the dormitory blocks at Apagya in the Ashanti Region, as well as during the school’s first matriculation, this announcement was made.

Nana Bonsu II counseled pupils to concentrate on their studies, pointing out that they all have the capacity to become future leaders, in an interview with Adom News.

In addition, Nana ruled that anyone possessing land conflicts or other concerns pertaining to the school should think about giving them up for the good of the institution as well as for their own gain.

The traditional leader promised to supervise the settlement of every dispute. There are more than 300 first-year students at the school, according to headmaster Michael Nti. After matriculation, the dormitories will be named.

He did, however, voice concerns about community members conducting agricultural business during school hours, which could impede the school’s expansion.

He also emphasized problems including dirty classrooms, a lack of restrooms, and the absence of a school bus.

The education minister’s delegate, Charles Owusu Brobbey, the coordinator of the Ashanti Regional Free SHS, said that the student body had grown from 300 to 600.

In addition to stressing the need for fence to improve security, he revealed plans to implement STEM teaching and made arrangements for computer installation in the school.
