The National Muslim Conference (NMC) leadership and National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, have handed their manifesto suggestions to Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
On Thursday, they went to Dr. Bawumia’s office and offered the plan.
This is a response to the request made by the manifesto committee for suggestions and ideas from all associations, organizations, and individuals to be included in the NPP’s manifesto for the 2024 elections.
The action is a component of the flagbearer’s inclusive manifesto for the benefit of the Ghanaian people.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted in his welcoming speech the various developmental and infrastructure projects, automated water systems, ICT libraries, and artificial turfs that the government has implemented in the Zongo communities and that have been made possible by the Zongo Development Fund.
He vowed to use sensible institutions and policies to advance the nation’s development.
Along with promising that the manifesto committee would carefully consider their views and take appropriate action, the vice president also gave assurances to the Chief Imam, the NMC, and other stakeholders.
