On March 9, 2014, Hadley won the Puerto Rico Open at the Trump International course by a two-shot margin for his maiden PGA Tour triumph.
Hadley won $630,000 with a tournament record 21-under. Additionally, he received a two-year tour exemption and invitations to the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, the PGA Championship, and The Players Championship.
