Chelsea will submit a second offer of £75 million for Leicester City center-back Wesley Fofana in an effort to persuade the Foxes to part with the defender.

The club has already had three proposals rejected by City because the club is adamant about not allowing one of their treasured assets go for less than their valuation.

Thomas Tuchel has made the Frenchman his top target, and the club has already had three bids for him rejected.

Leicester rejected the Blues’ earlier offer of £60 million with an additional £10 million in add-ons in favor of a price tag of more than £80 million for Fofana.

Fofana was demoted by Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers and forced to practice with the team’s under-21 team after skipping sessions in an effort to push a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

He did not play against Southampton last weekend and will not be in the starting lineup when they host Chelsea on Saturday.

The 21-year-conduct old’s has drawn criticism from Rodgers, who noted that it contrasts sharply with Harry Maguire’s actions prior to his planned 2019 transfer to Manchester United.
