American actor Charlie Barnett (born February 4, 1988) played firefighter/paramedic Peter Mills in the NBC drama Chicago Fire from 2012 to 2015.
Among his several leading parts on Netflix are those of Alan Zaveri in the comic Russian Doll, Ben Marshall in Tales of the City, and Gabriel Miranda in the suspenseful You.

Bob and Danee Barnett adopted Barnett and his sister. His adopted father is a boat builder from Minnesota, while his adoptive mother is from Utah and of Swedish ancestry.
He was reared till the age of seven on a yacht in the vicinity of Longboat Key, Florida. When he was six years old, he had his theatrical debut. He went on to participate in several operas and musicals with the Sarasota Youth Opera.
Barnett is a Booker High School alum. He took part in the summer musical theatre program at Carnegie Mellon. Barnett attended the Juilliard School after high school and graduated in the year 2010 from the acting program there.
