Charles Harris, a defensive end with the Detroit Lions of the National Football League, was born on March 6, 1995. The Miami Dolphins drafted him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Missouri’s NCAA football program.
The Dolphins traded Harris to the Atlanta Falcons on May 1, 2020, in exchange for a 2021 seventh-round pick. The Falcons declined Harris’ fifth-year option the next day, making him a free agent in 2021.
Harris was ejected from Week 8’s Thursday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers after hitting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in the head with his slide motion.
