Many are hesitant to work with LIV at any cost due to Saudi Arabia’s human rights record, the murder of Washington Post writer Jamal Khashoggi, and doubts over the country’s links to the Sept. 11 attacks. Indeed, families of 9/11 victims have criticized the idea to have a LIV tournament this weekend at Donald Trump’s Bedminster golf course in New Jersey.
As a result, no US broadcaster or cable channel has yet to sign an agreement with LIV Golf. The outfit’s tournaments may only be viewed live on LIVGolf.com, as well as its YouTube and Facebook accounts.
Nonetheless, British broadcaster Arlo White joined the league early this year, and NBC golf expert David Feherty followed suit. The famous Gary McCord is also said to be interested.
