Gospel singer, Celestine Donkor, has shed light on her absence from the nominations for this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
In an interview on Hitz FM, Donkor explained that she submitted her song ‘Come and See’ for consideration, which was released in November just before the closing deadline.
Donkor acknowledged that she did not meet the board’s requirements for submissions and was not surprised by her exclusion from the nominations.
Despite not receiving any nominations, Donkor expressed her support for her fellow gospel artists and congratulated all the nominees and potential winners for their hard work and dedication to their craft.
She also mentioned that she would be happy to perform at the awards ceremony if given the opportunity.
Donkor’s gracious attitude towards the situation highlights her professionalism and respect for her colleagues in the industry.
