The highly anticipated premiere of ‘A Country Called Ghana’ by popular actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, was a massive success, with tickets sold out well in advance.
The event took place on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the National Theatre and was graced by a host of Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities. Stars such as Medikal, Kalybos, Guru, and Akrobeto were in attendance, adding glamor to the occasion.
Other notable personalities present at the premiere included Awilo Sharp Sharp, Ahuofe Patri, David Osei, D Cryme, and Kofi Akpaloo, the leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana. The audience was treated to a spectacular movie viewing experience, and feedback from the viewers was overwhelmingly positive.
‘A Country Called Ghana’ is a collaborative effort between Ghana and Nigeria, directed by Fiifi Gha bin and produced by Lilwin himself. The movie features an ensemble cast of legendary actors from Africa, including Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu (Awilo Sharp Sharp), PAA George, and Sweet Mimi.
Following the success of the premiere in Accra, the movie will continue its screenings at the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi on May 25, and the final premiere will take place at the Eubsett Hotel in Sunyani on June 1, 2024. Fans of Ghanaian cinema are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to watch this remarkable film in their respective regions.
