American stand-up comedian and actor Cedric Antonio Kyles, better known by his stage name Cedric the Entertainer, was born on April 24, 1964.
He hosted Def Comedy Jam in 1995 and BET’s ComicView from 1993 to 1994. He is best known for playing Eddie Walker in Barbershop and co-starring with Steve Harvey on the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show as one of the Original Kings of Comedy.
