Florida’s Miami is where American actress Catherine Ann Keener was born, and Hialeah is where she grew up. She is the daughter of James Keener, a shop owner, and Evelyn (Jamiel).
Her mother is Lebanese, while her father is English, Scottish, and German. In Massachusetts, Keener studied at Wheaton College.
